The Suwannee River Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: August 8, 2006, 9:00 a.m.
PLACE: District Headquarters, 9225 CR 49, Live Oak, FL
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Board Meeting to consider District business, and conduct public hearings on regulatory and land acquisition matters. Public hearing in accordance with Section 373.59, F.S., concerning the proposed acquisition of the Riggs/Purvis Landing Addition, 70 Acres +/-, Dixie County, using funds from the Florida Forever Trust Fund; also the proposed acquisition of the McEnany Conservation Easement, 1,105 acres +/-, Levy County, using funds from the Florida Forever Trust Fund; also the proposed acquisition of all oil, gas, phosphate and other mineral rights from the James Graham Brown Foundation over 876 acres of the R. O. Ranch in Lafayette County, using funds from timber sale revenues. A workshop will follow the Board meeting.
