    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To update rules to be consistent with section 381.0098, Florida Statutes, incorporate fair and consistent verbiage to standards of practice and disciplinary guidelines, eliminate duplicative language, and incorporate necessary technical changes and modifications which will make it current with industry changes.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Areas to be discussed include but are not limited to: Requirements for biomedical waste facilities that generate, transport, store, or treat biomedical waste; definitions; facility policy and procedure requirements; treatment process requirements; registrations; permits and exemptions; and fees.
