    The Department of Environmental Protection, as designee for the Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida, announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Monday, July 10, 2017, 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Pinellas County Extension Office, Magnolia Room, 12520 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33774

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund of the State of Florida is proposing the establishment of an Erosion Control Line (ECL), pursuant to Section 161.161, Florida Statues. The meeting time (6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.) will include time for both a public workshop and a public hearing. The workshop is the public’s opportunity to ask questions about the proposed ECL. The hearing is the public’s opportunity to comment on, speak in support of, object to, and submit for consideration material relevant to the methodology used for locating the proposed ECL for the Sand Key Beach Nourishment Project (R106.8 to R109.1) and associated with permit # 0238664-001-JC.
