    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from C4 Architecture, LLC. The petition seeks the agencys opinion as to the applicability of sections 201.1.1 and 206.2.3, Florida Building Code, Accessibility, 6th Edition (2017). as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner seeks clarification about whether sections 201.1.1 and 206.2.3 of the Florida Building Code, Accessibility, 6th Edition (2017), allow Limited-Use/Limited Application Elevators or Platform Lifts to be installed to meet the Florida requirements for vertical accessibility in buildings where the Americans with Disabilities Act does not require vertical accessibility.
