Notice is hereby given that the Board of Nursing has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed by Leslie Mellin, on behalf of St. Joseph's Children's Hospital - Day Hospital, on June 10, 2013.The Petitioner seeks a Declaratory Statement from the Board with regard to Rule 64B9-8.005, Florida Administrative Code, and seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of the rule, as it applies to the petitioner. The petitioner is seeking the Board’s interpretation as to whether the administration of nitrous oxide is within the scope of practice for a registered nurse. The board will address this at the next available board meeting.
Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
