GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Southern Fidelity Insurance Company has requested statewide average rate changes for its business in the Homeowners Multi-Peril Account. The below identifies the proposed rate change that has already been filed with the Office:
20-015170: +31.1% Homeowners Multi-Peril
The effective date for the Homeowners Multi-Peril Account is August 1, 2020, for new and August 1, 2020, for renewal business.
An agenda listing the rate filings subject to this hearing will be posted on the Office’s website at http://www.floir.com.
Florida law allows the Office of Insurance Regulation to hold a public hearing for any purpose within the scope of the Insurance Code deemed to be necessary. Input from the insurer as well as interested parties will be received at this public hearing. Participants who wish to speak will need to register in advance for the hearing. Registrants will be asked to provide their name and e-mail address.
