    62-302.532 Estuary-Specific Numeric Interpretations of the Narrative Nutrient Criterion

    In accordance with Section 120.541 of the Florida Statutes, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Department) announces the availability of a Statement of Estimated Regulatory Costs (SERC) to persons who request it associated with the Department’s rulemaking to amend Rule 62-302.532, F.A.C., to establish estuary-specific numeric interpretations of the narrative nutrient criteria for Total Phosphorus (TP), Total Nitrogen (TN), and Chlorophyll a for Loxahatchee River, Lake Worth Lagoon, Halifax River, Guana River/Tolomato River/Matanzas River (GTM), Nassau River, Suwannee River, Waccasassa River, Withlacoochee River, and Springs Coast (Crystal River to Anclote River).  In addition, the Department is establishing numeric nutrient standards for chlorophyll a for coastal offshore waters that do not have chlorophyll a criteria.
