    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on May 30, 2007, the Construction Industry Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from Wayne Eseltine, CBO. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 489, Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

    The petition seeks the Board’s interpretation of Chapter 489, Florida Statutes, and whether a person that engages in the business of changing out plumbing fixtures, such as faucets and toilets, and cleans out clogged drains, must be licensed as a plumbing contractor.
