    64B17-3.001Licensure as a Physical Therapist by Examination

    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 13, 2016, the Board of Physical Therapy Practice received a petition for seeking a variance or waiver of paragraph 64B17-3.001(3)(b), F.A.C., filed by Joseane Estrela Stacy, which requires a foreign educated applicant have education credentials determined by the Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy (FCCPT) to be equivalent to educational requirements for licensure as a physical therapist in the United States. The Petitioner has also requested the Board’s clarification of Rule 64B17-3.003, F.A.C., as an alternative to the request for Variance and Waiver. The request for declaratory statement is filed under a separate notice.
