NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Nursing has received the petition for declaratory statement from Imelda S. Grieser, on June 28, 2016. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Section 464.003(20), Florida Statutes, as it applies to the petitioner.

The Petitioner seeks a Declaratory Statement from the Board in regard to whether the Petitioner’s performance of punch and shave skin biopsies supervised by a board certified dermatologist is within the scope of practice as a registered nurse as defined in Section 464.003(20), Florida Statutes. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
