    FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE

    TOWN OF HILLSBORO BEACH

    The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the Town of Hillsboro Beach’s project consisting of replacement of water distribution and transmission mains from the southern end of the town limits to Town Hall is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $5,676,639. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
