Notice is hereby given that the Board of Medicine has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed on behalf of Jose E. Garcia, M.D., on June 27, 2013. The Petitioner seeks a declaratory statement from the Board with regard to Sections 458.331(1)(q), (t), (v), Florida Statutes, and Rule 64B8-9.014, F.A.C., as they relate to the Petitioner’s proposed plan to provide patients with telemedicine services that will enable clinic patients of American Care, who are located in rural areas, to have access to medical care five days per week during normal business hours. The Board will consider this petition at its meeting currently scheduled for August 2, 2013.
