NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 3, 2014, the Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal has received the petition for declaratory statement from John J. Cunningham, Fire Marshal, Canaveral Fire Rescue.  The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of Section 16-2.4.1 and Section 16-2.6.2 of the Life Safety Code, 1985 Edition as it applies to the petitioner.

The Petition seeks the agency’s opinion regarding whether a structure is in compliance with Section 16-2.4.1 and Section 16-2.6.2 of the Life Safety Code, 1985 Edition – the version of the Life Safety Code in effect at the time the building permit was issued.
