NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order on June 29, 2020, denying the petition for declaratory statement filed by Christopher D. Mellado. The Petitioner sought a determination from the Board as to whether an unlicensed swimming pool contractor can install an underground pool liner. The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Vol. 46, No. 95, on May 14, 2020, in the Florida Administrative Register. The Board, at its meeting held on May 15, 2020, declined to issue a declaratory statement, finding that the Petitioner has not established standing.
