NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Office of Insurance Regulation has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by The Honorable Richard Clark on June 3, 2013. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:

Pursuant to Section 627.404(2)(b)8., Florida Statutes, to the extent that the City of Jacksonville is a trustee, sponsor, or custodian of assets held in any other retirement or employee benefit plan, it would have an insurable interest in the life of any participant in the plan with the written consent of the prospective insured.
