Board of Chiropractic Medicine

The Board of Chiropractic Medicine hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on April 18, 2017, by Crystal Nix Dayton, D.C. The Notice of Petition for Variance or Waiver was published April 20, 2017 in Vol. 43, No. 77 of the, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner requested a temporary variance from the board meeting attendance requirement of subsection 64B2-13.007(1), F.A.C., and to be allowed to attend the May 12, 2017, meeting in satisfaction of the requirement. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on May 12, 2017, in Orlando, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on July 27, 2017, granted the Petition for Variance or Waiver because the petition was in substantial compliance with the provisions of Section 120.542, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 28-104, Florida Administrative Code. Petitioner’s petition for waiver of subsection 64B2-13.007(1), F.A.C., is granted and Petitioner’s attendance at the May 12, 2017 meeting is accepted in satisfaction of rule’s board meeting attendance requirement.
