PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To update provisions in the rule due to statutory changes, rule changes and for clarity. Proposed changes include modification of processes and requirements for initial and continued program approval of teacher preparation programs.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Modifications of the requirements and implementation of approval processes for each type of educator preparation program offered by a Florida postsecondary institution, public school district, charter school, charter management organization or private provider.
