PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The proposed amendments will update the rule by incorporating statutory changes, clarifying current rule requirements, moving the definitions in rule 69B-211.041, F.A.C., to this rule, and making other necessary updates.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Definitions of “applicant,” “application,” “charge,” “felony,” “financial services business,” “law enforcement record,” “misdemeanor,” and “pre-trial intervention” will be transferred to this rule; update documentation to be submitted by applicants; update penalties for failing to accurately answer questions about law enforcement records; update requirements for sealed or expunged criminal records; update requirements for permanent bars from licensure and disqualifying periods (ineligibility for licensure) for certain crimes or multiple crimes; and update requirements for a pardon or restoration of civil rights.
