This new rule implements 2023 amendments to s. 1001.212(12), which require the Department of Education’s Office of Safe Schools to develop a statewide, Florida-specific threat management operational process and threat assessment instrument, to provide training on the operational process, and coordinate the ongoing implementation of the process.
