    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 30, 2012, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for American Financial Realty. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Section 3.11.3, as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2, Florida Building Code adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code, that requires upgrading the elevators with firefighters’ emergency operations which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
