    NOTICE OF CORRECTION

Notice is hereby given that the following correction has been made to the proposed rule in Vol. 41 No. 94, May 14, 2015 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

The correction is in response to comments submitted by the Joint Administrative Procedures Committee in a letter dated June 15, 2015.  The correction is as follows:

The SUMMARY OF STATEMET OF ESTIMATED REGULATGORY COSTS AND LEGISLATIVE RATIFICATIONS shall read as:

SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS AND LEGISLATIVE RATIFICATION: The Commission determined that the rule in question may very well have some adverse impact on entities that will qualify as small business. A SERC has been prepared by the Commission. The Commission has determined that the proposed rule is not expected to require legislative ratification based on the statement of estimated regulatory costs. In summary, the rule will not adversely impact economic growth, private-sector job creation or employment, or private-sector investments.  The rule will not directly or indirectly increase regulatory costs in excess of $1 million in the aggregate within 5 years after the implementation of the rule. The SERC prepared by the Commission staff estimates that the costs to small business will be approximately $198, 470 in one year and $992,350 over five years. The Commission estimates that 19 amateur sanctioning organizations will be required to comply with the rule. The Commission estimates 1003 amateur mixed martial arts participants and 70 amateur participants over the age of 40 will be required to comply. The Commission will not incur any cost for enforcing the proposed rule within its current workload with existing staff. No cost will be incurred by any other state or local government for enforcing the proposed rule. Transactional costs incurred by individuals who are required to comply with the requirements of the proposed rule will be minimal. The raise in costs is derived from the various tests required to be performed by amateur mixed martial arts participants and additional test to be performed by amateur participants over the age of 40.

Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or to provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of this notice.

THE PERSON TO BE CONTACTED REGARDING THE PROPOSED RULE IS: Paul Waters, Executive Director, Florida State Boxing Commission, 1940 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-2202.
