    Construction Industry Licensing Board

The Construction Industry Licensing Board hereby gives notice of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on March 23, 2016, Ryan Zurheide. The Notice of Petition for Waiver or Variance was published in Vol. 42, No. 58, of the March 24, 2016, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a waiver or variance of Rule 61G4-16.005, F.A.C., which states that a passing grade shall be valid only for a period of four (4) years from the date the list of successful candidates is approved by the Board. The Board’s Order, filed on July 29, 2016, denied the petition finding that Petitioner has not demonstrated a substantial hardship, does not violate principles of fairness, or is affected in a manner significantly different from the way the rule affects other similarly situated persons who are subject to the rule.
