NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has received the petition for declaratory statement from Links Insurance Services, LLC on July 29, 2014. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Sections 624.404(4) and 624.610(3)(a),(b) or (c), Florida Statutes, as they apply to the petitioner.

The Petition references a proposed agency agreement with Links Insurance Services, LLC, which is a licensed Managing General Agent, under Chapter 626, Florida Statutes, and an authorized insurer from another state which seeks to contractually transfer to Links certain insurance risks regarding loses which the authorized insurer incurs in an insurance program covering private passenger automobile insurance, marketed in Florida solely through Links.
