    The Smart Growth America announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: East Central Florida officials and residents will meet with representatives from Smart Growth America as part of a grant-funded technical assistance program. The region is working to develop and implement tools and techniques to achieve resilient communities and economies. The workshop will focus on how land-use and building practices could mitigate the impacts of climate change in Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Volusia counties.

    Residents and officials of Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Volusia counties are invited to join the evening activities for an introductory presentation and interactive discussion about the impact of local planning and building practices on climate change.
