    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, August 20, 2019, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Peabody Auditorium – Rose Room, 600 Auditorium Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32118

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold an open house regarding proposed plans to enhance Oakridge Boulevard between Halifax Avenue and North Atlantic Avenue in the City of Daytona Beach by providing the following improvements within FDOT’s existing right of way:

    • Reducing the number of lanes from three to two

    • Adding a 7-foot buffered bike lane, and

    • Milling and resurfacing the existing pavement

    The open house will be Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in the Rose Room at the Peabody Auditorium, 600 Auditorium Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32118. Attendees may come any time between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to review project displays, hold one-on-one conversations with FDOT staff and/or representatives, and watch a presentation video that will run on a continuous loop. Project aerials and virtual reality will be used to provide visualization of the proposed improvements.
