NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Cosmetology has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement from Brittany Lewis on July 10, 2014. Petitioner does not cite to any section of the Florida Statutes or Florida Administrative Code.

Petitioner seeks the Board’s interpretation of whether the reuse of facial sponges and waxing sticks is allowed. The Board will consider this petition at its meeting currently scheduled for September 4, 2014. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
