    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District One announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Thursday, August 23, 2018, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: At this public kickoff meeting, FDOT will display information about the proposed project for review and input. The meeting will be an open house format where people can ask questions and provide comments to FDOT representatives in a one-on-one setting. FDOT will accept written comments during and after the meeting. Comments submitted after the meeting may be sent to Patrick Bateman, EI, FDOT District One, 801 North Broadway Avenue, Bartow, FL 33830, or emailed to Patrick.Bateman@dot.state.fl.us by September 3, 2018.

    FDOT sent notices of the public kickoff meeting to property owners located within at least 300 feet along the project corridor, including additional surrounding areas. FDOT encourages all interested people to attend and express their views regarding the project and information presented.

    FDOT solicits public participation without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
