NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 30, 2018, the Office of Insurance Regulation, received a petition for a variance.

Petitioner’s Name: Metropolitan Life Insurance Company

Rule No.: 69O-149.005(14)(b), F.A.C.

Nature of the rule for which variance or waiver is sought: The petition requests that the Office grant a variance from the provision that multiple year rate guarantees or rating caps may not exceed 24 months. Petitioner requests that the time frame be extended to at least 36 months, or such longer period the Office may permit, with respect to group health insurance policies insuring groups of 51 or more persons.
