    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Construction Industry Licensing Board has received the petition for declaratory statement from Paul Del Vecchio, filed on August 8, 2019.The petition seeks the agency's opinion as to the applicability of paragraph 489.105(3)(a), F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.

    Petitioner seeks a determination from the Board regarding whether a Florida licensed interior designer who is an unlicensed contractor and who contracts with an owner for a scope of work that includes contracting that constitutes a substantial portion of the contact value may hire a licensed general contractor and subcontractors on its behalf, as well as manage (controlling the means and methods) and administer the construction, which includes structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work, provided the interior designer first discloses to the owner that he or she is not a licensed contractor and obtains a power of attorney from the owner to consent to this. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
