NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 09, 2023, the Emergency Communications Board, received a petition for variance or waiver, pertaining to Grant #S14-19-12-18, filed by D. Matt Raulerson, Esq. on behalf of Hendry County. The Petitioner is seeking a variance of paragraph 60FF1-5.003(2)(a), F.A.C., which requires that work authorized by grants be completed in two years from notification of award and are allowed a one year extension. The statute is 365.172(6)(a)3.b., which authorizes the Emergency Communications Board to issue grants for emergency communications.
