    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 09, 2023, the Emergency Communications Board, received a petition for variance or waiver filed by Morgan Tomlinson, 911 Coordinator on behalf of Martin County. The Petitioner is seeking a variance of paragraph 60FF1-5.003(2)(a), F.A.C., which establishes timeframes for completion of projects that are supported by grants. The underlying statutes are: 365.172(6)(a)3.b., which establishes a grant program to assist Florida Counties with upgrading emergency communications systems; and 365.173(2)(g), which allows the Board to establish priorities for awarding grants to develop and maintain emergency communications systems.
