    Notice of Publication for a New Point

    Franchise Motor Vehicle Dealer in a County of More

    than 300,000 Population

    Pursuant to Section 320.642, Florida Statutes, notice is given that FCA US LLC intends to allow the establishment of TT of Pickettville, Inc. (“TT”) as a dealership for the sale and service of new Jeep passenger cars and light trucks (line-make Jeep). The proposed location for the sale of Jeep vehicles is at a location on the southeast corner of Pickettville Road and Commonwealth Avenue in Jacksonville (Duval County), Florida. The proposed location is to the north of and contiguous to 833 Pickettville Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32220. The legal description is as follows: Government Lot 4 located in Section 13, Township 2 South, Range 25 East, Duval County, Florida. Less and except the lands conveyed in the following Official Records Books and Pages: O.R. Book 3343, Page 872; Official Records Book 3444, Page 349; Official Records Book 4318, Page 755; Official Records Book 5773, Page 1044; Official Records Book 7381, Page 1043 and Official Records Book 7920, Page 2166, all of the Public Records of Duval County, Florida. ALSO LESS AND EXCEPT: The North 30.00 feet and West 30.00’ of Government Lot 4 located in Section 13, Township 2 South, Range 25 East, Duval County, Florida for Road Right of Way and also less additional right of way for Picketville Road on the West. FCA US intends to engage in business with TT on or after September 10th, 2017, assuming that no protest is filed.

    The name(s) and address(es) of the dealer operator(s) of TT are: Terry Taylor, 505 S. Flagler Drive, Suite 1400, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401 and Ken Kovacs, 9600 Atlantic Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32225. The name (s) and address(es) of the principal investor(s) in TT are: The Terry R. Taylor Revocable Trust, 505 S. Flagler Drive, Suite 1400, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401, Terry R. Taylor, Trustee and Beneficiary; Ken Kovacs, 9600 Atlantic Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32225 and Tommy Ulman, Jr., 9600 Atlantic Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32225.

    The notice indicates intent to establish the new point location in a county of more than 300,000 population, according to the latest population estimates of the University of Florida, Bureau of Economic and Business Research.

    Certain dealerships of the same line-make may have standing, pursuant to Section 320.642, Florida Statutes, to file a petition or complaint protesting the application.

    Written petitions or complaints must be received by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles within 30 days of the date of publication of this notice and must be submitted to: Nalini Vinayak, Program Manager, Dealer License Section, Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Room A-312,, MS 65, Neil Kirkman Building, 2900 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0635.

    A copy of such petition or complaint must also be sent by US Mail to: Chris Chandler, FCA US LLC, 10300 Boggy Creek Road, Orlando, Florida 32824.

    If no petitions or complaints are received within 30 days of the date of publication, a final order will be issued by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles approving the establishment of the dealership, subject to the applicant’s compliance with the provisions of Chapter 320, Florida Statutes.
