NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 7, 2018, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Aetna Building at 841 Prudential Dr., Jacksonville, FL. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of Rules 2.19.1 and 2.19.2, ASME A17.1b, 2009 edition, as adopted by Rule 61C-5.001, Florida Administrative Code that requires Ascending Car Overspeed Protection and Unintended Car Movement Protection which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
