    The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, August 27, 2019, 12:30 p.m.

    PLACE: Tampa Convention Center, Room 24/25, 333 S. Franklin Street, Tampa, FL 33602

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host a meeting of the Florida Multi-use Corridors of Regional Economic Significance (M-CORES) Task Force for the Southwest-Central Florida Connector extending from Collier County to Polk County. The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the Southwest-Central Florida Connector corridor study and process. Comment stations will be available throughout the meeting and comments may be submitted through the following methods: in writing at one of the comment stations; verbally to an on-site court reporter; by mail addressed to Ann Howard, Florida Department of Transportation, 605 Suwannee Street, Tallahassee, FL 32399-0450; or by email to FDOT.Listens@dot.state.fl.us. A public period will take place at 4:45 p.m.

    Please note that parking for the meeting is available at the Tampa Convention Center Garage located at 141 E. Brorein Street and the Pam Iorio Parking Garage located at 301 Channelside Drive. Both garages charge for parking. Please bring your parking ticket to the registration table to have your ticket validated.     The Florida Department of Transportation may adopt the result of this planning effort into the environmental review process, pursuant to Title 23 U.S.C. § 168(4)(d) or the state project development process.
