    PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

    INVITATION TO BID

    The State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Construction & Facility Management Office (CFMO) requests bids from State of Florida registered licensed General or Building Contractors (GC) for the following project located at Camp Blanding Joint Training Center (CBJTC), Starke, FL.

    PROJECT:  217093 CBJTC Gulfport Street Washout Repair

    FUNDING:  The State of Florida's performance and obligation to pay under this contract is contingent upon availability of funding and an annual appropriation by the Legislature.

    BID OPENING DATE:  As stated on the Vendor Bid System (late bids will not be accepted)

    MANDATORY PRE-BID/SITE VISIT DATE:  As stated on the Vendor Bid System

    STATEMENT OF WORK:  Remove and replace culverts and repairing roads.  Project to include installing appropriate erosion control measures, removal of existing corrugated culverts, preparation of site to receive new precast box culverts.  Preparation to include any necessary water diversion, removal of trees, brush and debris to provide unobstructed entrance and exit to new box culvert.  Install new box culverts and headwalls; rebuild road bed.  Alternate Bid Item to include concrete paving from headwall to headwall.

    The Department reserves the right to reject any and all submissions or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the DMA.

    Request for private meetings by individual firms will not be granted.  No individual verbal communication shall take place between any applicants and the Owners or Owner’s representatives.  Request for any additional information, clarifications, or technical questions must be made in writing.
