The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, August 28, 2007, 9:00 a.m.

PLACE: District Headquarters, 2379 Broad Street, Brooksville, FL

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: GOVERNING BOARD COMMITTEE MEETINGS, BOARD MEETING, AND PUBLIC HEARING: Conduct meetings and public hearing. There will also be an opportunity for public input on the District’s intention to amend the fiscal year 2007 budget as follows: Increase the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Mitigation Fund budget by $5,278,605 to reflect unanticipated revenue from the FDOT for land acquisition in support of mitigation for planned roadwork projects within the Hillsborough River Basin. The proposed budget amendment will not impact the District millage or ad valorem property taxes. A closed attorney-client session will be held during the lunch break. Ad Order 56762.
