Electrical Contractors’ Licensing BoardThe Electrical Contractors’ Licensing Board hereby gives notice that on July 24, 2012, it received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed by Avila Property Owners Association. Although the petition does not state which rule or statute the petitioner is seeking an interpretation of, the petitioner would like the Board to determine whether or not its company is required to maintain a license and UL certification for monitoring equipment in order to provide complimentary alarm monitoring service to its residents.
