PROJECT: 219005 Lake City FMS #8 Life Cycle Renovation
FUNDING: The State of Florida's performance and obligation to pay under this contract is contingent upon availability of funding and an annual appropriation by the Legislature.
BID OPENING DATE: As stated on the Vendor Bid System (late bids will not be accepted)

STATEMENT OF WORK: Contractor shall supply all labor and materials to provide the following modifications, renovations and additional work bay to FMS #8 an approximately 4050 square foot FMS shop and a new 3320 sq. ft. Pre-Engineered Metal Work Bay building with concrete slab. The intent is to extend the effective useful life and energy efficiency of this 1950s facility and bring it up to current building and life safety codes, including but not limited to ADA, protect the building envelope, update the electrical (LED Lighting) and mechanical systems to increase efficiency and ease of maintenance, rearrange the layout to better serve the FMS, (3) new voice and data drops and relocate patch panel.
New 3320 sq. ft. Pre-Engineered Metal Work Bay building manage water runoff as required for the New Work Bay. The New Bay construction shall include demolishing old FMS #8 bldg. site preparation, water management, tying in to existing utilities, electrical, plumbing and gas. New bldg. shall include a 120 sq. ft. storage area, 72 sq. ft. latrine to include an ADA Drop in shower, radiant heating, LED lighting and on demand water heaters. (l) Drop voice and data (per owner specifications)
The Department reserves the right to reject any and all submissions or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the DMA.
