    FLORIDA FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT

    VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA

    WASTEWATER TREATMENT AND REUSE FACILITIES

     

    The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has determined that the proposed Volusia County wastewater facilities will not have a significant adverse affect on the environment. The proposed facilities consist of upgrading and expanding the Southwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility from 1.2 MGD to 2.7 MGD, including modifications to the reclaimed water pumping station and expansion of the reclaimed water distribution system. The total construction cost of these facilities is estimated at $16,841,000. The project is expected to qualify for a State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state matching funds.
