    RULE NO.:RULE TITLE:

11B-27.002Certification, Employment or Appointment, Reactivation, and Terminating Employment or Appointment of Officers

The Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission hereby gives notice:

On August 6, 2015, pursuant to notice, at a meeting held in Ponte Vedra, Florida, the Commission considered a petition for waiver of paragraph 11B-27.002(4)(a), F.A.C., by Chief Alton K. Williams on behalf of Terry Carlton. After careful consideration of the facts in this matter, the Commission found that Petitioner had demonstrated an economic, technological, legal, or other type of hardship resulting from a strict application of paragraph 11B-27.002(4)(a), F.A.C., that was particular to petitioner, significantly different from the way the rule affects other similarly situated persons and issued an order granting Petitioner's petition for waiver of paragraph 11B-27.002(4)(a), F.A.C.
