DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, September 1, 2015, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., open house with presentation shown on continuous loop

PLACE: Edgewater City Hall - City Council Chambers, 104 N. Riverside Drive, Edgewater, Florida

GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will have a public meeting for the State Road (SR) 5/US 1 (S. Ridgewood Avenue) design project. The project is approximately 8.1 miles, from South Street to Magnolia Avenue/Shangri-La Circle (FPID: 430678-1-32-01). The improvements for this section of US 1 include: milling and resurfacing, ADA upgrades, addition of sidewalks to fill in gaps on both sides of US 1, and minor work for drainage and signalization. These improvements will take place within existing right-of-way so no additional right-of-way will be needed. Construction for this project is funded in Fiscal Year 2016.

The purpose of this meeting is to present information and to receive public input regarding the proposed improvements. Project information will be available for review along with a project presentation that will run on a continuous loop. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, and receive comments.
