NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 26, 2017, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Regency Palms Condominium, license number 104087, located at 5065 Royal Palms Way, New Port Richey, FL 34652 (VW2017-102) and a petition for Regency Palms Condominiums, license number 105584, located at 5089 Royal Palms Way, New Port Richey, FL 34652 (VW2017-101). License number 105584 is issued to Royal Palms Way, not Regency Palm Condominiums and will herein be referred to as Royal Palms Way. For both petitions, Petitioner sought an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1b-2009, Sections 2.2.2.5, 3.27.4, 5.2.1.2, and 5.2.2.14, as adopted by subsection 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code, due to the elevators being manufactured to a newer code, which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.

Notice of Correction to Notice of Petition:

On June 29, 2017, a Notice of Petition was advertised for Regency Palms Condominiums (VW2017-102) and incorrectly identified the petition as VW2017-101. The Notice of Petition intended to address both petitions VW2017-101 and VW2017-102.
