    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Financial Project Identification Number: 424464-1-22-01 & 424464-2-22-01

    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites you to attend a public hearing regarding proposed improvements to State Road (S.R.) 388 (West Bay Parkway, Segment 1), in Walton and Bay counties. The intent of this study is to extend S.R. 388 on a new alignment for 11.5 miles with bicycle lanes, stormwater treatment facilities and a new bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway.

    The hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. in an open house format, with a formal presentation at 6:00 p.m., followed by a public comment period. The hearing is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the conceptual design, and social, economic and environmental effects of the proposed project.

    Maps, drawings, and additional information will be available for review. Representatives from FDOT will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments.
