    FISH AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION COMMISSION

    The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announces a workshop to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, September 10, 2019, 9:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. ET

    PLACE: This is the first of three workshops that will be broadcast via webinars. All webinars will have the same presentation. Information will be available at https://myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/wildlife/species-guidelines.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Commission will present draft Species Conservation Measures and Permitting Guidelines for the white ibis, snowy egret, Sanibel Island rice rat, bluenose shiner, Lake Eustis pupfish, short-tailed snake, and Pine Barrens treefrog. These guidelines outline biological background, recommended survey methodology, and options for avoidance, minimization, and mitigation for these species. The meeting will provide the public an opportunity to provide feedback and offer suggestions on the proposed guidelines. Comments can also be sent after the webinars to Imperiled@MyFwc.com.
