The Department of Children and Families hereby gives notice:
The Department has issued an order disposing of the petition for waiver of subsection 65C-45.013(2), Florida Administrative Code, from Citrus Health Network, Inc. d/b/a Citrus Family Care Network. The Notice of Variances and Waivers was published in Volume 49, No. 121 of the Florida Administrative Register on June 22, 2023. Subsection 65C-45.013(2) of the Code requires all initial, relicensing, and ongoing maintenance of the licensed foster home activities to be completed by a licensed child-placing agency outside of the employee’s service area and submitted to the Regional Licensing Authority for approval.
The petition for waiver was denied because Petitioner did not demonstrate a substantial hardship or violation of principles of fairness.
