64E-3.002: Definitions

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on August 12, 2008, the Department of Health has issued an order.

Denying Variance of subsection 64E-3.002(1), F.A.C., in response to a petition for variance filed on April 10, 2008, by Anais Cadalzo Abreu.

The Petition was first published in Vol. 34, No. 17 of the April 25, 2008, issue of the Florida Administrative Weekly. Petitioner requested a variance of the rule that defines an “approved educational or training program” with the expectation that her school, Dade Medical Institute, would soon attain the type of accreditation accepted by the department. The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology has, however, through the appeal process, withheld accreditation. The department’s order denying the petition was issued and filed on August 12, 2008.
