NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on August 20, 2019, the Board of Medicine issued a Final Order on the petition for declaratory statement filed by Neelam Uppal, M.D. on July 8, 2019. The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 45, No. 132, of the July 9, 2019, issue of the Florida Administrative Register. The Board reviewed the Petition at its meeting held on August 2, 2019. The Board’s Final Order finds that the Declaratory Statement is not the appropriate avenue to challenge disciplinary action or to ask the Board to excuse or reconsider disciplinary penalties that were imposed over four years prior. As such the Board denied the Petition for Declaratory Statement.
