The Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel hereby gives notice: that on July 1, 2019, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance or Waiver. The Petition for Variance or Waiver was filed by Lakshmi Chandramohan, on May 2, 2019, seeking a waiver or variance from paragraph 64B3-5.007(2)(l), F.A.C., with regard to the requirements for licensure as a director in the specialty of Molecular Pathology. The Notice was published in Volume 45, No. 88, of the Florida Administrative Register, on May 6, 2019. The Board, at its meeting held on May 29, 2019, via telephone conference call, voted to deny the Petition for Waiver or Variance finding that the Petitioner did not meet the purpose of the underlying statute by other means and that the application of the rule to Petitioner did not create a substantial hardship or violate the principles of fairness.
