    RULE NO: RULE TITLE
    6A-1.09441: Requirements for Programs and Courses Which are Funded Through the Florida Education Finance Program and for Which the Student May Earn Credit Toward High School Graduation
    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of this amendment is to obtain approval of the “Course Code Directory and Instructional Personnel Assignments” for 2007-2008, as required in Rule 6A-1.09441(5), F.A.C. This rule provides specific conditions for which students may earn credit toward high school graduation and for which the courses are funded through the Florida Education Finance Program (FEFP). Courses in art, social sciences, and foreign language are added to the Course Code Directory to allow districts to receive funding. Certification areas for courses in reading have been amended to align with teacher certification requirements. Revisions to the narrative section were made to align course requirements with state law and federal regulations.
