NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal (the “Department”), has received the petition for declaratory statement from James Schock (the “Petitioner”) on August 17, 2015.The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Florida Building Code-Residential Plumbing Section P2904 as it applies to the petitioner.

The Petition seeks the Department’s opinion as to what licensing is required to install and inspect sprinklers that are constructed under Florida Building Code-Residential Plumbing Section P2904.
